Now for a few of my French Napoleonic troops. I specialise in 1798 to 1814, particularly unusual units or troops which are special in some way.


The 17th Line Infantry going into action. The figures firing (green/yellow hat plumes) are voltigeurs (marksmen) whilst behind are the Grenadiers (red hat plumes). The figure nearest us is loading his musket

(The bases for these figures were covered in fine sand - but at this scale it looks like large stones).
