Now for a few of my French Napoleonic troops. I specialise in 1798 to 1814, particularly unusual units or troops which are special in some way.

These pictures are of unarmed civilian drivers that took guns, ammunition and stores into the heat of the battle - often returning with wounded in the empty ammunition carriages.

A team of 6 horses and 2 civilian drivers. They are pulling an ammunition cart with the ability to pull a small cannon behind as well.
This is a 4 horse team pulling a supplies cart for French Line Artillery. Two Horse Artillery troopers are sitting on the front of the wagon. Although civilian 'train' drivers these two are armed with swords. In the background is the 6 horse team.
Both gun teams seen head on. Notice the different 'civilian' uniforms. The drivers on the left have soft leather trousers to keep out the worst of the weather.
