The 30th
Line Infantry commander, standard bearer and drummer lead elements of
the "Marie Louise" down a village street. In the background
are more of the 30th Line to prevent the inexperienced Marie Louise -
second row, grey coats - troops from running away. They are on their way
to take up defensive positions, against the British, on the edge of the
village. This is some time in 1812. |
